Backstory
One of the fastest growing category on the short video format content providers these days is the Movie and/or Web Series clips which almost all age group people see during their social media surfing. In most cases people are not aware of the source of the clips. So they either ask their friends go to the search engine to find the source which many a times becomes a long process.
There comes this AI-powered idea of providing an in-app experience platform which facilitates the users to find the source of the clips without searching here and there for it.

Result
Through this case study, I conceptualized an AI-powered tool that allows social media users to instantly identify the source of movie or web series clips found in short-form content. Key outcomes of this project include:
Learnings
Important! This kind of content heavy AI-tool needs to have a lot of heavy rendering which make it very expensive on the server side for the tool to work.
Major challenge is, this is video recognition. This needs to recognize scenes, characters, and even specific visual effects.
Apart from this, in the clip shared on the social platforms might have some filters and effects, different aspect ratios, combination of 2-3 different movies/series, audio variation, etc., which makes it even more complex to build such tool.
